There’s been a series of fights between students of Samoana High School and possibly non students from the villages of Fagatogo and Pago Pago.
Last Friday the school principal Rod Atafua is reported to have received minor injuries while trying to break up skirmishes among students on campus.
Police were called to the school but were not able to catch the culprits as they had disbanded.
Its also reported that a police unit was stoned in Fagatogo as it was trying to search for a student identified as one of the instigators of the fights.
The fights led to the cancellation of the awards banquet for Samoana Friday night.
The awards for the senior class were presented during the baccalaureate service on Sunday at the Fagatogo CCCAS.
