One of the more than 50 young people leaving tonight with the team of recruiters from Practical Employee Solutions, is 26-year-old Sabrina Faga of Nuuuli.
She’s leaving behind a child and husband to work as a house keeper at a hotel in South Carolina, that PES has placed her.
Ms Faga said she and three other young women also hired by PES will be staying together in accommodations arranged by PES, and they will be paying $85 per person a month.
Their wages start at $10.50 and there’s also overtime work involved.
Ms. Faga is thankful for the opportunity and is committed to working the full 7 months and send money to help her parents and get a future for her young family.
