If you’re a debit meter customer of the American Samoa Power Authority, make sure you purchase enough to last until Sunday evening.
ASPA is carrying out a major upgrade this weekend and from 5pm tomorrow until Sunday evening, you won’t be able to buy debit power on line or from ASPA customer service.
Customer Service Manager Ryan Tuatoo says the upgrade is to enable customers to purchase debit meter tokens at selected stores.

Tuatoo says they hope to finish installation by Sunday, test the system and address any kinks.
To be on the safe side he advises debit meter users to buy enough power to last up to Sunday evening.
