One of the Red Cross volunteers from off island working hard in the Gita response is 19 year old Timothy Dunstan.

Born in New Zealand he calls Tafuna home as that’s where his family has resided for almost 12 years.

He attended elementary school at St Theresa, Leone, graduated from Faasao Marist High School and is now enrolled at Chaminade University.

Volunteer work is part of Timothy’s young life.

In Honolulu he volunteers at Tripler Army Hospital and works as a cashier on the university campus.

Timothy joined the Hawaii Red Cross last September and is thrilled to be picked for the Gita assignment.

He says being familiar with American Samoa is a big plus in his Red Cross work.
