If you’ve been looking for postings by notorious Samoan blogger O le Palemia on Facebook in the past few days, you can stop looking, the page has been taken off.

Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi would not take credit for the blog been taken off but his government has actively been trying to identify who is behind OLP.

Facebook does not give reasons as to why pages are removed but usually issues like defamatory remarks as well as crude and pornographic material can be reason for removal.

Tuilaepa, during his Tuesday press briefing played it down by saying that he doesn’t read what he labeled as rubbish on blogs such as OLP.

In a past interview he said the his “officials” were working at trying to identify who OLP is.

Samoa Police Service confirmed they had been tasked to find the identity of the blogger but have not had any success.
