KVZK-TV went off the air Friday morning.
Director of Public Information/KVZK-TV Tuimavave Tauapai Laupola explains there is no power to the transmitter at Mt Alava and the road up to the site is impassable after Gita.
He says coordination with DPW, Procurement and ASPA has been going on since Gita passed to clear the road so ASPA can get electricity to the transmitter.
