Amper replaces Jaime Espinosa de los Monteros

Amper , the parent company of Blue Sky has relieved Jaime Espinosa de los Monteros as president.

Clemente Fernández González will assume the position temporarily until the company designates a new first executive.

Espinosa de los Monteros, who has been executive president of the company, since May 2012, will continue as a counselor.

Amper not specified the reasons for his termination.

It’s understood that Clemente Fernández González’s appointment is “transitory” and until a new permanent executive is named.”

Clemente Fernández was appointed as the group’s senior director last June.

On the eve of Espinosa de los Monteros’s termination, Amper, through its subsidiary Bluesky, and its former CEO Adolfo Montenegro, with its ACMA company, agreed to finalize all pending lawsuits in American Samoa, which put an end to the crossing of demands between both parties.

For the agreement, Amper will pay Montenegro and his company ACMA, $500,000 for the completion of its consulting contract.

In addition Amper is to pay another $1.5 million at the time it completes the sale of all assets of the Amper Group in the South Pacific.
