Sunday is another cruise ship day, with the arrival of the “MAASDAM” that’s traveling from Fiji on its way to New Zealand.
She’s bringing 1,310 passengers and 588 crew members.
The American Samoa Visitors Bureau urges the community, taxi and bus drivers, to be welcoming to the tourists as their experience here helps generate more visitors.
The liner docks at 8 and will be here until 5pm. There’ll be vendors set up at the Fagatogo malae and the marketplace in Fagatogo to sell handicrafts, clothing, jewelry and souvenirs to the tourists.
