Tuala-uta and Tafuna residents, constituents and motorists traveling on the Fagaima road are advised that filling of potholes with asphalt was postponed due to bad weather conditions.

Rep Vui Florence Saulo advises that the pot filling job  scheduled to be continued yesterday is again postponed for next week due to heavy rainfall and continuous flooding on the Tafuna-Fagaima road.

As soon as the flooding stops or the rain stops sometimes today, Public Works plans to resume filling these potholes with cinders.

After the recent spate of heavy rains, some new potholes have appeared and previous ones are wider and deeper.

Motorists are advised to please drive slowly and with caution…be mindful of the men working to apply the asphalt next week.

The Tafuna-Fagaima Road Drainage and Road Resurface is on schedule under the American Samoa Government, Department of Public Works, Territory Transportation Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2018.
