Great Life Church in Tafuna partnered with A21 (stands for Abolishing slavery in the 21st century) for a second year to bring awareness to American Samoa about A21’s mission to abolish slavery all around the world.

This was A21s 9th annual Walk For Freedom which is an effort to stop sex trafficking, forced labor, bonded labor, involuntary domestic servitude, and child soldiers (children who are forced to join an armed force).

A21’s mission is to Reach (educate people), Rescue, and Restore the millions of victims around the world.

On Saturday, Great Life was one of the 400 walks that happened in 50 countries around the globe, joining tens of thousands who decided to take a stand against human trafficking/slavery.

Last year their first walk saw about 40 people in attendance and this year that number more than tripled with 135 walkers and about ten others who joined at the end.

The walk was made possible through the support of organizations like Alliance who bought the T-shirts and did media outreach; KS Mart who brought the drinks and ice; All Star signs who made their banner; Lighthouse Builders who provided the fruit and snacks; Forsgrens who made the signs and posters; KVZK for reporting the event; along with volunteers from GreatLife Church who worked so hard to put it all together.

The A21 organization was founded by Christine & Nick Caine; evangelist Pastors from mega church Hillsong Australia, but now living and operating in the United States!
