Post Master Tao Sauni advises that the Post Office will change hours of operation for uplifting packages tomorrow.
The changes are due to the late arrival of the weekly cargo flight.
The flight which normally arrives on Friday is not expected until 1 pm today.
There are 26,000 pounds of mail arriving on the cargo flight this afternoon, and this does not include the mail that’s coming on tonight’s Hawaiian Air flight which needs to be sorted.
Post Master Sauni advises the public that all packages will be released at the backdoor of the Post Office from 11 am to 3pm tomorrow.
She says this will allow staff enough time to process and stage packages for release to customers.
