Tomorrow is the American Samoa STEM Summit.
The American Samoa STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) partnership brings educators, businesses, professionals and the community to support student success in STEM pathways.
The event is hosted by American Samoa STEM partners chaired by the American Samoa Power Authority and vice chaired by the Department of Education.
The theme for the Summit is “Exploring STEM College, Career & Trades Pathways through Partnership.”
Director of Education, Dr. Ruth Matagi Tofiga invites the community to join the summit on Saturday, May 27th at the Lee Auditorium, Samoana High School and Utulei Beach.
Free admission. Lots of hands on activities for children from K to high school, and information and exhibit booths from STEM partners.
This family oriented educational event is a great opportunity for the community to be informed of the different STEM programs available for our students here and abroad.
