Six senior students of Marist Faasao High School were involved in an accident at Vaitogi Monday when they were supposed to be in school.
After final exams on Monday the students managed to slip out of the school grounds in a vehicle and went joy riding.
Reports indicate that the vehicle was speeding and skidded off the road in wet and slippery conditions, several of the passengers ended up in hospital with injuries.
The most seriously injured required surgery but all were released and were at the Catholic school today to take the rest of their final exams.
