Pennsylvannia congressman visits grave of Toa o Samoa

A member of the CODEL from the US House Resources Committee which visited American Samoa early this week, made a personnel visit to the parents and family of a Toa o Samoa who paid the ultimate price in defense of freedom.

Pennsylvania Congressman GlennThompson and his wife, visited the grave of US Army Staff Sgt Tumanuvao who was killed in the battlefield in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

A son of Congressman Thompson was with the slain soldier when the fatal explosion took place.

Thompsons met with the parents of Sgt. T. Tumanuvao Kolio and his wife Monika and children at Iliili.

Congressman Thompson made time to appear on the Samoa Sunrise Show with Pennslyvania native John Raynar, a good friend of the Congressman’s Chief of Staff…they attended the University of Pennsylvania.

Congressman Thompson talked about Sgt Tumanuvao.
