Police have interviewed female students at Faasao Marist High School in Lepuapua about an incident where a man drove into campus and allegedly showed the students pornographic material.
The police have shown the girls the photo of an unemployed man from Ottoville believed to have been the culprit and the girls have positively identified him as the perpetrator.
The man was driving a red Sedan.
This took place last Wednesday between 3-4 pm.
According to information from the students, the man entered the school gate and called the girls over to his car to asked them for the school’s wi-fi.
When they approached his car, he showed them porno material.
At that point apparent’s vehicle pulled up, alongside the man’s car. He then drove away.
A police report was filed the same afternoon and the mother of one of the girls circulated a warning about the man, together with a photo of the suspect.
Commissioner of Public Safety Le’i Sonny Thompson is off-island for the Retirement Fund Board meeting and the two deputy commissioners were unavailable for comment.
