An ava ceremony is scheduled for this morning for the Congressional delegation from the US House Natural Resources Committee led by Chairman Rob Bishop, Republican from Utah.

The CODEL which includes seven members of Congress, among them our own Congresswom
an Aumua Amata Radewagen, arrived last night and was welcomed by Acting Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga, Secretary of Samoan Affairs Mauga Tasi Asuega and several cabinet members as well as HC Pulu Ae Ae Jr. of Congresswoman Aumua’s local office.
The visitors are here until tomorrow afternoon and have quite a full itinerary.
Visits to the LBJ Hospital, StarKist cannery, National Park and the Veterans Memorial Center are scheduled today and tomorrow.
A reception hosted by the American Samoa Government is planned for tonight.
