Christmas carols and good cheer rang out from the halls of Hope House this morning.
Staff of the Department of Human And Social Services led by Director Taeaoafua Meki Solomona entertained the residents and staff of the home, presented ulas and topped it off with a donation of $1230.
Beatrice Block, said this is the fourth year that DHSS has continued this tradition at Hope House and the elderly residents and youth with special needs, at the home did not hide their appreciation for the wonderful performance, and the generous donation. 
DHSS was the latest group to have visited Hope House.
The Christmas celebrations for the home started last Saturday with a Mass officiated by Bishop Peter Brown.
Long serving staff members were recognized at the Mass.
Block says there’ll be a Christmas bbq for all residents and staff on Friday and everyone will get a Christmas gift.
Hope House has 17 elderly residents and four young people with severe disabilities.
