Consulate General of Samoa, Auseugaefa Vaasatia Poloma, advises those needing permits to visit Samoa or Samoan citizens needing new passports or other consular services to be aware that the consulate will be closed several days for the holidays.
The last day that the Samoa Consulate will be opened this year is December 23, and it will not reopen until January 4th.
Auseugaefa says travelers and those needing documents provided by his office can avoid the inconvenience by coming in early to obtain the services they require.
The Samoa Consulate is located on the top floor of the Iupeli Siliva Building (Methodist Building) in Fagatogo next to Samoa News. Call 633-5919.
