A text to an ex girlfriend ignited a physical encounter between man and live in girlfriend which resulted in the man being put behind bars.
Tyrone Hudson allegedly assaulted his girlfriend giving her a lump on the forehead which the victim’s father noticed and reported to police.
When the couple was questioned together, neither would open up.
But when they were questioned separately, the woman began talking.
According to the police report, the victim heard her live-in boyfriend talking and texting on the phone when then barged into the room and snatched off the phone.
She discovered that the boyfriend had been talking and texting to his ex girlfriend in the mainland.
According to court filings she threw the phone against the wall breaking it then punched and slapped the defendant who turned around and pushed her against the wall, pulled her hair and rammed her face against the wall.
The victim said their four year old son witnessed everything.
