Faoa said they will not file an election challenge as this will hold up the process of declaring the results official.

The Faoa Sanitoa team had raised questions regarding absentee ballots which did not have receipt dates,

The candidates said they accept the call by the victors, Governor Lolo and Lt. Governor Lemanu for everyone to come together and do what is right for the good of American Samoa.

He and running mate Larry Sanitoa urged supporters to leave the elections behind and to support the elected leaders, Lolo and Lemanu.

At the same time, the candidates expressed hope that there will be no repercussions in the wake of the elections for their supporters.

Faoa and Sanitoa thanked all their supporters, and their hard working committee for their efforts saying they were able to raise and shed light on many important issues during the campaign.
