Governor Lolo Moliga will deliver special remarks tomorrow at the government’s annual commemoration of Veterans Day.
The ceremony will be held at the Tafuna Industrial Park at the Veterans Monument adjacent to the the VA Office.
A prayer service will be led by Rev. Liu Tofili of the Fagamalo Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa and hymns will be sung by the Siona Choir from the Leone CCCAS Church.
SSG. of the US Army, Mareta Taukilo will read the Veterans Day proclamation by the governor and flags will be raised by cadets from the American Samoa Community College ROTC.
The same group will present the service flags of the various branches of the military.
A wreath to commemorate all the fallen comrades will be laid by Governor Lolo at the Veterans Monument and local army reservists will fire a gun salute.
The service concludes with the playing of taps.
