The last remaining part to complete the Fagatogo Playground project, that is playground equipment arrived last week.
But now Parks and Recreation has to solicit bids for a company to install the equipment.
Fagatogo House Representative, Mauagoalii Sipa Anoa’i was present with Parks and Recreation Director Maeata’anoa Pili Gaoteote and Chief Procurement Officer Dr. Oreta Crichton at the playground site to do an inventory of the playground equipment.
Maugaoalii says installation of the equipment will be carried out after a contractor has been selected through bidding.
Basketball and volleyball courts were completed last year but the project has not been dedicated awaiting completion of the playground for children.
