KHJ News held spot interviews with a handful of students who listened to the gubernatorial forum hosted by the Student Government Association of the American Samoa Community College yesterday.
The forum posed six questions to the candidates relating to their solutions to remedying the high rate of graduates needing remedial classes when entering college, how important is the youth voice to them, use of the Samoan language in instruction, solutions to Manu’a’s transportation problems, their gubernatorial platforms and how they see the role of the American Samoa Community College.
Of the seven students who spoke to us before rushing back to class after the 1 1/2 hour forum, four were undecided on who to vote for come November 8, while three identified the candidates who will get their ballots
