Today Pala Lagoon Swimming Center via the Rotary Club of Pago Pago received a generous donation from McDonald’s, American Samoa…a check of $100,000!
Rotarians gathered at the swimming pool center in Lion’s Park earlier today where owner and operator of McDonald’s American, Agaoleatu Charlie Tautolo and Dolores Tautolo presented the donation.

Rotary’s Past President Utu Abe Malae accepted the gift on behalf of the Pala Lagoon Swimming Center and spoke on the importance of training swimmers to protect the loss of lives.

Rotary’s swimming pool project is entering phase 2 which includes a children’s swimming pool and another pool for laps and is working with the community to raise funds to complete the swimming center.
