The Chairman of the Board of Bank of Hawaii, Mr. Peter Ho, has sent his congratulations to Governor Lolo and the Board of the Territorial Bank of American Samoa for the successful establishment of the government bank.

He complimented Governor Lolo saying, “through your strength of leadership you have laid the groundwork for the future economic viability, independence and success of the territory.”

Governor Lolo had invited the BOH chairman to attending the grand opening of TBAS on Monday.

But Mr. Ho sent his regrets that his travel schedule doesn’t permit his attendance.

He said BOH recognizes the significance of this “critical milestone for American Samoa and the importance of Bank of Hawaii’s participation.”

While he cannot attend , he will be represented at the dedication by BOH  vice-chairman and general counsel, Mr. Mark Rossi and Senior Vice President,  Hobbs Lowson.

Ho thanked Governor Lolo for recognition of Bank of Hawaii and himself during the transition to TBAS.

He told Lolo, “I am well aware that it takes many hands to navigate a successful journey.

“Your notable achievement is a direct result of the hard work, collaboration and cooperation of many.

“We certainly recognize all of the efforts of your team and personnel and commend you for all that you have achieved. “
