Suigaula o le Atuvasa will be buzzing with activity tomorrow as Coastweeks draws to a close.
Culminating a fun filled two-week calendar of events is a Fun Day hosted by the Department of Commerce in partnership with the Department of Public Works.
Coastweeks celebration promotes awareness of the importance of our oceans and marine resources and why everyone should make it their responsibility to keep our oceans and beaches clean.
Tuna Sunia from the Department of Commerce says the Fun Day will have activities for the whole family.
A “WalkforJustine,” a cancer patient starts off the day at 5am with participants walking from Coconut Point in Nu’uuli to Suiga ula beach.
A bus will pick up participants at the marketplace and take them to Coconut Point for the walk.
A Taebo session begins at 8am and the fun continues with several activities until 5pm;.
The public is urged to come out and enjoy the day.
