Last night at the governor’s residence, Governor Lolo Matalasi Moliga and First Lady Cynthia Malala Moliga hosted the Miss American Samoa Inc. VIP dinner.
The dinner is usually hosted by MASI but this year marks the first time that the VIP event has been held at Government House, with the governor and his wife as the official hosts.
This dinner is to recognize contestants, parents and sponsors for their hard work,
Miss American Samoa, Suluga Taliau said, “This year Im proud to say that we are blessed and extremely fortunate to have the Governor and the First Lady open up their humble home to us, in order to carry out this pre-pageant activity.”
This night was an opportunity for the contestants to not only introduce themselves & meet the Governor first hand, but it also gave their families, friends, and sponsors a chance to mingle with and get to know each other.
The contestants were accompanied by the their parents, family members, and sponsors.
In addition, a few ASG officials were also present.
