Still on the campaign trail, the team of Faoa Aitofele Sunia and Larry Sanitoa, have expressed concern about an apparent surge in hiring as Election Day draws near.
No figures could be obtained about the number of new hires over the last two months but walk to many offices and staff will privately comment on new faces appearing lost daily.
Department of Education support services such as School Lunch Program and School Transportation are among the agencies where there’s been a spurt in hiring.
