Twenty-four inmates at the Territorial Correctional Facility graduated today from a 6-week course entitled Discovering your Personal Purpose, Vision and Assignment 101.
It was sponsored by the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Leone and T.K Tilo Lighthouse Bible College with Rev. Dr. Sosene Leau as the curriculum developer and course instructor.
At a graduation ceremony in the TCF Chapel, Rev. Dr. Sosene Leau explained the vision behind the course.

There were speeches of acknowledgement and thanksgiving by the sponosors of the program including the President of the Tilo Lighthouse Bible College, Rev. Elder Dr. Rudy Tilo.
TCF Warden Fo’ifua, Jr was grateful for the spiritual counseling for the inmates which will help them lead Christian lives after they are released.
Speaking on behalf of Commissioner Save Liuato Tuitele, Deputy Commissioner, Vaimaga Maiava expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in making this course available to the inmates.
Maiava told the inmates that God works in mysterious ways and He’s just provided them with the opportunity to better their decision making skills.
Some of the participants spoke about how they’ve benefitted from the course.
Manumalo Baptist Church had gifts for the inmates, there was a graduation feast and the graduates entertained.
