Employees clocking or signing in early before their actual start up time, can present problems for their employers. At the presentation by Department of Labor officials for the Chamber of Commerce Wednesday, employers heard that their records need to reflect actual hours worked. The Labor Department officials stressed that the time that an employee clocks or signs in is what they use to calculate actual hours worked.
