The AYFS Bears football team, the Pago Pago Matais under 14 Division represented American Samoa at the GridIron Championship tournament today.
This year, the youth tackle football program sponsored by Gatorade is celebrating their 10 year anniversary and our local team is ecstatic to be a part of the milestone tournament.
The boys played against the Phoenix Raiders this morning at the Mater Dei High School field and the final score was Phoenic Raiders 23, Pago Pago Matais 0.

One of the commentators said the Pago Pago Matai Football team is the most respectful, they were the best example of great sportsmanship, and it was an honor to see them play.
Head Coach Sila Poasa Jr is thankful for all the support.
