Blue Sky Company’s Customer has received numerous complaints since launching their new self-service menu 888#.
The feature allows customers to make calls on IOU and send out texts when they run out of credit.
Blue Sky Customer Service Sherry Sele explains that just after they launched this new feature there were many complaints,, however the number has been dropping
Customers are upset that they starting getting text messages about IOU credits which they never received then blue Sky would start deducting the IOU’s when they purchase credit for their phones,
Some complained that Blue Sky never asked them before hand if they wanted to receive this feature but they are getting it anyway
Customers noticed that Blue Sky stopped sending text messages to want them that their data package was running out,. The warning is only sent out when the customers; credit is down to 50 cents,
According to Sele, this feature is part of a global setting that Blue Sky cannot change; it cannot be removed even if the customer doesn’t want it ,
Sele said it’s possible reasons why some customers may be getting messages from the 888 service even thought they didn’t sign up for is their phones may have been used by some other people or the numbers were accidentally pressed while their phone were inn their pockets or purses
Blue Sky has reimbursed some customers who have complained about the 888 service.
Sele advises wants to hear from customers who are experiencing problems.
The company also encourages customers who are experiencing these problems to inform them as soon as possible.
