The Rotary Club of Pago Pago is holding its main fundraising of the year this Saturday.
Its annual golf tournament which each year gets strong support from the business community which donates prizes and sponsors teams. Similar support comes from government agencies.
For those who don’t golf the Rotary Club invites you to buy a raffle ticket to help raise funds for their many community projects…these include the community swimming pool at Lion’s Park, services and supplies for the LBJ Tropical Medical Center.
Raffle tickets can be purchased from Rotarians who will be at Cost U Less, Tool Shop, Neil’s Hardware and Laufou Shopping Center.
There are a lot of merchandise and prizes: 110,000 Hawaiian Air Miles, a laptop computer from Computer World, Tool Shop weedeater, 50″ Flat Screen TV from Cost U Less and a Whirlpool gas dryer from Neil’s ACE Hardware.
There will also be gift certificates and other appliances as prizes.
A few items will be auctioned off on Saturday at the golf tournament.
