Due to Samoa’s general elections next Friday Samoa time, the Samoa Consulate will be closed Thursday and Friday of next week.
Consul General Auseugaefa Vaasatia Poloma Komiti says a notice about the closure has been published in the local newspaper so that US nationals planning trips to Samoa can plan accordingly.
They can obtain permits between now and Wednesday of next week.
He says the local agents for Lady Naomi and Polynesian Airlines have also been advised of the closure.
The Samoa Consulate Office upstairs in the Susana Uesele Building in Fagatogo will reopen normal business hours on Monday March 7.
