The cruise ship Aurora arrived after 11 this morning and the sun was quite hot when the passengers hit the streets of Fagatogo, Pago Pago, Utulei and other villages in the Bay Area.
Others took tours or hopped in a taxi or bus and did their own thing.
Those who walked from the main dock filed straight for the Fagatogo Malae where vendor tents were set up on the perimeter of the malae.
KHJ News witnessed brisk sales especially with clothing, jewelry and some handicrafts
Kiwi, Aussie, American, and various European accents were heard as the tourists milled through the vendor tents.
Some locals were also shopping,
One tourist from South Africa was shopping for her granddaughter.

The Aurora, the third cruise ship for this week, sets sail for New Zealand around 6pm.
